I can’t say that I haven’t felt this, but sometimes things end. Perhaps sooner than we would like to. Don’t be sad it ended, be happy that it happened.
I certainly understand the “improbability” concept that you explore, and I may be off-topic, but this is what come into my mind when I read it and I wanted to write it.
